999. Flamboyan in Bloom

Our Flamboyán (Delonix regia) is large flaming red, orange, vermilion, yellow ferns. She reigns proud as a peacock from May to September, providing much-needed shade from our equatorial sun and hours of fun for adventurous tree climbers. But our resident Beyoncé is far from your average tall exotic beauty, she’s also a legume and carries nitrogen-fixating and soil-improving properties.
