899. Shete Boka, Curaçao’s Breathing Holes

Ryan Kummins’ 5th grade students at the International School of Curaçao were kind enough to share their favorite things about Curaçao with us.  Tessa Schaeffer’s favorite thing is Shete Boka, she writes: “watching the water go up and down is awesome and I could watch it for hours” and I absolutely agree with her!

Shete Boka Park is right next to our Christoffel Park (home of Curaçao’s tallest peak: Christoffel Berg) and covers over 10 kilometers of rocky north coast. The areas has 10 pocket beaches where 3 types of sea turtles are known to lay eggs.  Boka Tabla is the most popular inlet.
