871. Curaçao Elections. May the best party win!

Exciting times. Curaçao parliamentary elections will be held on Friday, October 19 2012.

230 candidates from 8 different political parties are vying for 21 seats in parliament.

Each party has a color, each party has a flag — and our entire island currently looks and feels like one giant (and slightly confused) Gay Pride parade…

I’ll be dressing wisely in the following days!

Frente Obrero (FOL) – Orange

MAN – Blue

Movementu Futuro Korsou (MFK) – White

Partido Alternativa Real (PAR) – Yellow

Partido pa Adelanto i Inovashon Soshal (PAIS) – Light Blue

Partido Nashonal di Pueblo (PNP) – Green

Pueblo Soberano (PS) – Cream
