862. Mi Lucha’s (My Struggle) Dairy-free Ice Cream

Post-beach Mi Lucha stop. Deliberating small, medium or large. Something like, “I’m not sharing, so you better get your own!”

“Mi Lucha” snèk is an outdoor bar and restaurant in Santa Maria (across the street from the church and cemetery by the McDonald’s). They make the very best homemade coconut ice cream we’ve EVER had… and it’s among the first cravings we have upon landing in Curaçao (good thing Mi Lucha is a short – 5-10 minute drive – from the airport!).

Mi Lucha’s coconut ice cream is made with coconut milk, not cow’s milk, and doesn’t discriminate against the lactose intolerant… It comes in small, medium and large buckets… but, beware, the smallest serving is simply not enough…you’ll be left wanting more, more, more, more…

Hmmm maybe that’s why they call themselves “Mi Lucha” ?!
