805. Curaçao New Year’s Dive

A Dutch New Year’s tradition since 1960, 12 hours after midnight tens of thousands of people gather to dive into the unox-erwtensoepsea, together. Then warm up with some snert (traditional Dutch pea soup). King of Snert UNOX and Zanzibar have imported this tradition to Curaçao, only trading the frigid, wintry North Sea for our warm, rejuvenating Caribbean Sea! Thousands gather at Jan Thiel’s Zanzibar to plunge into the New Year – then swim and dance their hangovers away. Awesome bonus: the first 2,000 to sign up receive an UNOX hat!

I can’t think of a better way to dive into the New Year. Can you?
