What to do
Hike Chrisoffel Berg, Curaçao’s Highest Point @ 1,292 feet
Sweat, blow off steam, meditate on interesting geological formations, lichens, beard moss, bromeliads and orchids along the way. Cliff hang for the last 50-100 feet or so. Then enjoy some of the most spectacular views of the island! Chill out. Hydrate. Maybe fool around. Breathe. Dream. Imagine. Breathe some more.

Shout out to adorable Minnesota couple – Jenna and Micah – and their ‘Hiking Mt. Christoffel’ post:

Special thanks to my friend Gaby Lieuw who runs the stunning site: Sand and Stilettos. Unlike ‘1000 Awesome Things about Curaçao’, Gaby’s site is a stylish travel guide filled with hidden Curaçao treasures (where to stay; Hacienda La Bougainville, Villa Horizon, Villa Rustique at Boca Gentil for boutique-style vacations, where to walk; historic Scharloo neighborhood, what to read; The House of Six Doors by Patricia Selbert, where to shop; Bamali etc.) If you’re planning a Curaçao vacation, Gaby will be sure to hook you up with a beautiful trip. Follow her on Facebook and Twitter to stay-up-to-date on all her latest discoveries.
