Henrique Capriles is not the only candidate with Curaçao roots.
Henrique Salas-Römer was governor of Carabobo from 1990- 1996. He also was a candidate
Ricardo Maduro Joest was president of Honduras from 2002 to 2006. HIs Maduro roots are well embedded in Curaçao.
Eric Arturo Delvalle, whos ancestry is also from Curaçao (his grandparents were born here) was Vice Prewsident of Panama from 1984-1985 and President of Panama from 1985 to 1988. He attempted to remove Manuel Noriega as head of the armed forces, but was deposed.
Max Delvalle, uncle of Eric Arturo Delvalle, was Vice President of Panama and served as President in 1967 for 1 week.
