Let Captain Goodlife (Juni Obersi) take you on tours of the secluded area surrounding Santa Cruz. Our favorite ‘Goodlife’ coastal adventure has to be diving into the Blue Room, a sea cavity you reach 3 feet under a coral and limestone rock face. Natural sunlight passes through the cave and shines through the water, creating a surreal phosphorescent blue reflection that illuminates the whole cave… This blue is so vibrant you’ll want to capture its essence in a jar… (we recommend film!). Though Captain Goodlife aptly coined this cave “Blue Room” a few years ago, it’s unique visual experience is accompanied by an equally unique aural experience: the cave is known to produce a loud whistling sound as a result of rough waves crashing to and from during severe weather — it seems the cave compresses air and forces it out — these ‘whistles’ can be heard miles away, so most locals still refer to it as “Boka Fluit” (Whistling Mouth). Be sure to “Like” Captain Goodlife’s Facebook page for more information.
Our Blue Room will remind you of Capri’s ancient and world famous Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), but I can assure you that our water is much, much warmer!

This cave is known by locals as “Boka Fluit”, which actually means whistling mouth and which is only manisfested in rough weather when incoming waves compress the air in the cave that is then forced out with a hefty whistling sound.
Lovely addition, will add to text!
